These rows rank cities by total mapped incidents in the current public data window. This is useful for finding active datasets and large reporting areas, not for judging safety.

Methodology note

Raw incident counts, per-capita rates, and severity-weighted rankings answer different questions. Cities with larger populations, longer reporting windows, or broader source categories naturally produce more mapped incidents.
